Time for coffee!

Well, say 'hi' to my new original characters Solomia the owl and Mango the cat

You may have seen these charz in some of my previous sketches, but now I finally try to tell you something about them ;З

Solomia is the long-eared owl which lives in the park of some European town... I purposely don't name a specific town or even country - 'cause, in fact, that's a mystery even for me x'D She's really curious, impish, but also friendly creature. Always tries to explore the things around her and easy inspires others to decisive action. Just adores coffee - coffee charging her incredible positive! That owl even learned how to fool the coffee machine located near the park and steal it for herself and her friend. Maybe she has a some childish outlook on life, but Solomia definitely isn't silly and actually knows a lot of things. Helped Mango to believe in herself and improve self-esteem when she (the cat) was still kinda young, after becoming the best and only friend for her.

And Mango is a stray black cat with a triangular-like brown spots and stripes, and the eyes of different colors - yellow and light-green. That's really stupid, but most people consider it as... combo of unluckiness! And this made her personality very difficult. As a kitten Mango perceived all slanders very sensitively, but over the years her character was changed - now she has become kinda sarcastic and always tries to turn everything into a joke... sometimes really evil joke. Actually for a long time she herself couldn't understand who is she: an evil creature that brings only harm to everybody or just an another kitty-cat. In any case, Mango was a total outsider for a long time... but not for always. The first creature who doesn't care about her color or eyes was a puppy of an English Cocker Spaniel and he became her first friend ever. This puppy was home and his owners only occasionally walked with him in the park, but this time he liked to play with that strange, but cool kitten. Later puppy owners moved to another town and Mango didn't see him anymore. That was one of the saddest periods of her life, but... at least, he taught her what friendship is. And about six months later Mango met Solomia, her current friend. These two relatively quickly found a common language and since then they like to spend time together: playing, hunting, poking fun at someone or just talking. Mango has always preferred night lifestyle, btw.

Funny fact: they both also have nicknames - Owlie & Lucky x3
Owlie it's Solomia's nickname, of course. When Mango was younger and Solomia was only acquaintance for her - it was hard to remember that full name, so this kitty called her just Owlie. Owl considered it kinda cute.
And Lucky it's Mango's. In her youth Mango was pretty low self-esteem about her luckiness. That's because stupid humanz called her unlucky like all the time, you know. Solomia decided to help and began to call her by nickname Lucky. First Mango took it as a joke, but later she really loved that nickname.
So you can call them Solomia or Owlie & Mango or Lucky, as you more like c:

And another fact about Lucky's original name. First I thought that she will have yellow and light-green eyes + light-red scarf or handkerchief on the neck and together it would be like a palette of mango fruit. However I still haven't refined this idea completely. But don't worry, I think that at least it will be done. Maybe next year

But I still didn't choose suitable colors for Solomia. And, actually, I'm open to suggestions, 'cause I have no idea when I will make a real reference :'D
